And two photos taken through the glass of the back door of a little visitor who came to our garden. The European Red Squirrels are very skittish and run away faster than you can look once they know you're there, so there was no chance for me to go out and take these photos.
On one of my tours round the surrounding countryside with my new bike, which now allows me to not only ride along the roads, but also into the woods and fields where the car wouldn't go, I met these two. This is the closest I have ever managed to creep up to the deer of the area, they are quite the flighty creatures, too.
