Leftovers 1 (Part 3)

When I realised how fast the light was disappearing, we tried to get to where we could see the port area with the setting sun, but we didn't quite make it there. We walked through Speicherstadt, and upon looking back to where we had come from, we were regaled with this beautiful sight:


Those on the balloon ride must have enjoyed the sights they were seeing in that lovely light very much!

We actually only just managed to get to the new foot bridge that leads from Hohe Brücke to Kehrwiedersteg, and there we stopped for a couple of photos in all directions, like towards the elevated trainstation of Baumwall...

... or in the direction of the harbour cranes in the west with the sun just set behind them.

Looking east once more, towards where that balloon had started rising once again, we saw this pink sky...

... and also the Speicherstadt-sky was all clad in pink.
