While his younger sister has "secured" herself the earlier birthday in April, "big brother" always follows suit 2 1/2 weeks later.
"Little sister" made him a lovely present: she got 19 different flavours of his favourite chocolate, built this "chocolate tower", decorated it with 19 candles ... but left them unlit in the end. We feared they might create a "chocolate lake" too soon, so it was the idea that counted. Co-incidentally we did find exactly 19 different flavours in the shop, so there is no repetition anywhere to be found! :D
His other "big" birthday present (by his parents) was only symbolised by this little toy car and the toy traffic signs ... he knew that getting his driving licence paid for would represent part of his birthday present, so we could only express this again through these symbols.
And here he is: Son, now 19 years old, counting his chocolates that make the chocolate tower. :D
