After lunch, another highlight was on the agenda: Hagia Sofia.

For some really odd reason, I never took even ONE photo, not ONE at all, of the entire outside of Hagia Sofia. And those I took of detail from its outside look so "Meh!" now that I am not going to show them to anybody. One more reason for why I must return to Istanbul one day, just so I can get at least one photo of my own of the kind that ... erm ... everybody has ;-) .

OK, some views from inside, the vast inside which was dominated by an even vaster scaffolding, which - so we learned - must have sat there for 10 years already, at least...
